Time tracking

Construction time tracking with GPS clock-in

Crews clock in and out from their phone. Every punch carries a time stamp, a position and, if you ask for it, a photo — and the hours roll up into weekly timesheets ready for payroll.

Attendance you can trust, without the paper sheets

  • Clock in from any phone

A clock screen made for gloves and sunlight: one button to start the shift, one for the break, one to finish. A QR code poster at the gate takes workers straight to the right site.

  • Checked against the site

Each punch is compared with the location of the site, within the radius you set. A punch made away from the site is flagged on the timesheet — or refused, if you prefer.

  • Photo verification

Ask for a photo at clock-in and clock-out when you need proof of who was there. It is the simplest answer to buddy punching.

  • Who is on site right now

A live list and a map of the sites where people are clocked in, since when, and who is on a break. A foreman can also clock in a whole crew at once.

  • Weekly timesheets and approval

Regular, overtime and break hours are totalled from the punches. Approve a worker’s week in one click, or correct a record — every correction keeps who changed what, and why.

  • Absences and payroll export

Record holidays, sick days, training and other absences next to the hours, then export the period as a payroll workbook or a PDF, Excel or CSV list of shifts.

How time tracking works

  1. Set up your sites

Give each site its location, the radius that counts as “on site” and whether a photo is required.

  2. Crews clock in

From the clock screen on their phone, or by scanning the site’s QR code at the entrance.

  3. Supervisors check the day

See who is on site, who has not clocked out and which punches were made away from the site.

  4. Approve and export

Approve the weekly timesheets and send the hours to payroll.

Questions about time tracking

Do workers need to install an app?

No. The clock screen opens in the browser of any iPhone or Android phone, and can be added to the home screen so it opens like an app.

Are workers tracked all day by GPS?

No. A position is recorded when someone clocks in and when they clock out, to check they are at the site. Nothing is read in between. You decide whether the position is required, optional or switched off, and positions and photos are deleted after the retention period you set.

What happens if someone forgets to clock out?

A supervisor can correct the record. The original punch is kept, along with who made the correction and the reason given, so the timesheet stays auditable.

Can I track hours across several sites and projects?

Yes. Each site has its own location and QR code, and every shift is attached to its project and site, so hours can be totalled per worker, per project or per site.

Can I export hours for payroll?

Yes. Export the payroll workbook for any period, a worker’s week as a PDF, or the list of shifts as PDF, Excel or CSV.
